Physical Therapy Services


We provide innovative physical therapy services in the clinic and natural environment settings with a strong emphasis on posture, biomarkers, Neuro-Developmental Treatment approach (NDT), Masgatova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) and use of Kinesio┬« tape applications. 

As a clinician, my goal is to appropriately assess a patient's needs to provide the tools necessary to achieve functional goals. Parents/caregivers are central to the rehabilitation process! Nothing happens without you!

Indications for a Physical Therapy Evaluation:

  • Delay in gross motor milestones
  • Plagiocephaly (flat or misshapen head)
  • Concerns with movement; unable to play in different positions (i.e. w sitting, difficulty transferring)
  • Loses balance often while sitting or standing
  • Difficulty with coordination when playing
  • Locks knees in standing for support, locks arms in crawling, plops down when going from standing to squatting
  • Fear of movement
  • Toe walking
  • Obvious decreased strength and coordination
  • Limited flexibility which hinders activity (including TMJ/face)
  • Failure to gain weight
  • Scar tissue
  • Scoliosis
  • Postural asymmetries (anatomical features don't match or align from one side of the body to the other)
  • Poor respiration and/or endurance

Speech Language Pathology/Dysphagia


Using Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Guardian NMES, and manual skills, as indicated through assessment, to treat motor dysfunction and improve outcomes.

Indications for a Speech/Language Pathology or Dysphagia Evaluation:

  • Child does not demonstrate the following skills:

    • 1 year - produce several words, respond to their name and begins to label caregivers (mama, dada, ect.), transition to early textures of food
    • 2 years - produce minimum of 50 words, begin to combine two words, 50% intelligible (could a stranger understand them), drink from cup/straw well, chew variety of solids (typical table foods)
    • 3 years - produce 300 to 500 words, speak in 3-4 word sentences, is at least 75% intelligible
  • Difficulty transitioning through feeding stages
  • Difficulty with oral care/hygiene
  • Tube to oral feeding transition
